Giving back is an integral part of our business philosophy, so we've pledged to give back a portion of our revenue each year to causes dedicated to improving our planet.
For 2015, funding from Mosaic were distributed to the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance and the Grand Canyon Trust.
For 2016, we continued to contribute to the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance, but also sponsored an Environmental Conservation internship from the Department of Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at Colorado State University. This sponsorship included the payment of either tuition or living costs for a summer intern attending CSU.
The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance is the only non-partisan, non-profit organization working full time to defend and enlarge Utah's redrock wilderness. Information about the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance can be found at suwa.org

Above right photo was taken along the Paria River on a backpacking trip in the Paria River/Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness of Southern Utah. Photo at left was taken on a canyoneering trip to Neon Canyon and the Grand Cathedral in the Escalante/Grand Staircase National Monument, which deserves to some day become a larger wilderness area. Ken Mitchell, Mosaic Owner created the 2% pledge to support the preservation of wilderness in the Colorado Plateau.
